I was looking at this as a way to add sliding table capacity to my powermatic saw. https://www.amazon.com/Powermatic-Tablesaw-Accessories-PMST-48-1794860K/dp/B07RHBTVDS/ref=sr_1_2?crid=30NMLTY76656X&keywords=powermatic+sliding+table&qid=1697302065&sprefix=%2Caps%2C183&sr=8-2
It’s expensive and I definitely am not going to get the commercial sliding table saws. What do you think of this, it’s expensive, is it worth it, a sled will not meet my needs. Or is there some other way to accomplish the same thing? Appreciate your thoughts.

"A sled will not meet my needs." Why? What are you cutting or trying to do? Would you like a guess? I will guess the number three!
I have a much earlier version of this sliding table I’ve been using for years. It doesn’t look as if much has changed. Hammerdropper asks good questions that would help provide meaningful feedback.
