I have several worn out electric random orbital sanders but also have a good air compressor now so would like to go to pneumatic powered equipment like sanders. I recently purchased a HUSKY orbital sander from Home Depot but was wondering if anyone can suggest a good brand, or at least something better than HUSKY! I never quibble about prices because buying the best creates a lot less stress (unless of course wifey has a problem with it!) but who has experience with such things, and didn’t FHB rate these things at one time or another? Thanks in advance.

I've had good luck with Dynabrade.

-- Daniel Webster
The problem I have had with the pnuematics is: the occaisional drop of lubricating oil / water that can get in the line, and sputter out onto the work. No problem doing metal work, but a disaster on wood, (especailly since it only happens when your down to 300 grit).
Dynabrade is as reliable a tool as you'll ever wish for.
