Planer head out of parallel with base
I have a used Delta DC-33 13″ planer and I just realized that the planer cutting head is about 15 thousandths out of parallel with the base. The knives are all within 2-3 thou of each other in the cutting circle so that’s not the problem. The entire head seems to be off, I can set it down on the right side on a block of oak to get a sliding fit, then can’t get the same block under the left side of the head.
The instruction manual is silent about adjusting for this, does anyone here have any suggestions about adjusting it?

Is there anything under the platin bed?? Chips often find their way under there.

Remove the chain and adjust the necessary posts. Just make sure you turn them the same amount. Put the chain back on.
