Hello,

I was referred to this site from a luthier site as I am trying to “plane up”. In addition to lots of questions on blades and sharpening, I thought I would initially ask whether anyone knew of any sources for a couple lever caps (or cap irons) for 2 planes:
1) a jack plane with “Worth” on the blade. THe screw which seats the cap lever is located closer to the mouth on this plane and a Stanley won’t fit.
2) a Stanley block plane that may be a 9 1/2. Looks like a 9 1/2 except the blade is 1 5/8″ wide (same with the cap lever).
