Hi All,
I need to build 2 Alder raised panel doors with the rails & stiles mitered @45 degrees. My plan was to miter and assemble with biscuits & glue on the ends of the miters. The doors are roughly 23″ x 28″ Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

If the design will allow it splines across the mitres will have more glue surface and be stronger than biscuits.

We trained hard, but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams, we would be reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing; and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.

Since you're using raised panels, I would definitely want to reinforce those mitered corners. Go with biscuits, splines, or dowels.
