I’ve finally found a pen that works great for signing wood. It’s a uniball signo 0.7 mil gel grip pen. I bought this pen at Staples for a couple bucks. I signed a cherry chair, then within 5 minutes applied an oil/poly/thinner finish. The ink didn’t smudge and looks great. Nice thin line which is clear and easy to read.
