My old Porter-Cable model cf2600 pancake compressor just bit the dust. Shopping for a replacement I find several combo kits with various nailers included. They make it difficult to evaluate because each kit has a different model # of compressor all seemingly similar. Can anyone tell me the difference between the cf2600, cf250n, and cf125A compressors. They all have the same capacity.

Hi Bud303,
I just bought the Porter Cable unit, came with the brad and finish nailers, awesome unit. I bought the stapler also, it all comes together at home depot for Christmas, under 300.00.
Good luck,

I also just bought the PC pancake combo, and I'm really happy with it. I'm not sure the numbers in your post refer to the type of compressor or the type of nailer included in the kit - I think the 250A is the 2 1/2" finish nailer, the 125 is the 1 1/4" brad nailer - those were the two guns included in my kit. Now I see a narrow crown stapler included as well - maybe that's the 2600?
