There are lots of discussions here that recommend the use of Pratt & Lamber 38 due to its light color. I haven’t yet been able to find a local or mail-order source for it. The P & L website lists a local distributor, but they say they don’t sell it any more. Is there an alternative brand with soy based resins that I can look for?
Thanks

This is where Steve or Howie would jump in and rattle off great advice. Maybe they are peeking in. We need to put out an APB for those old time missing members - come back guys and help out - Need an alternative varnish in a light color ?

Roc,
Thanks. I've got it bookmarked. If I can't find it locally in a little while, I'll place an order.
I'm still curious to find out if 38 is the only soy based oil varnish.
