Couldn’t think of where I could ask this, so I chose here.
I want to glue shells to glass.
Any ideas on a suitable glue?
Drying clear would be desirable as well.
Thanks

Hey -- Wow! I never thought of that for holding glass. Surprising, since that's what I used to keep the floormats in the truck from binding up with the pedals.

SF, take a look at a model aircraft supply source for Cya adhesives that come in a bunch of viscosities and types(flex/no flex, gap filling). Paddy
Here is some clear epoxy.

Some of the basic stuff cures milky or opaque. I am sure it would glue your shells to the glass as long as you have the shells and glass soap and water clean.
If any chance of wax on the shells remove with some paint thinner. Test first. Probably a good idea to wipe the shells with paint thinner anyway just to be sure.

"Couldn't think of where I could ask this, so I chose here. I want to glue shells to glass." Fairly obvious, I would think. In the Joinery folder. [Sorry, couldn't resist.....]
Sea shells or Artillery shells?
CA (cyanoacrylate) thick or medium thick should do fine.

hot glue gun with the clear glue should hold a sea shell.
I was looking for the best way to attach fabric to metal and came across this website http://www.thistothat.com/cgi-bin/glue.cgi?lang=en&this=Fabric&that=Metal. Just put in the two materials you want to glue and it kicks out an answer.
