   Welcome, Bill!  Hope you enjoy your times at Knots.  For political discussions, the Cafe is the place to be.  It won't show up on your "folders" list unless you ask for access.  CAn't seem to find a Cafe Access thread, so here, drop them a line at [email protected] and they'll turn the switch on for you.

   Thanks for the info, I really did come here for the purpose of finding out more about wood and meeting people,  I find all the political discussiion I want in yahoo chat.  It just seems that somehow or another it come back to politics, no matter what you talk about, I think the subject I interjected on was, buying USA. that subject is a loaded political subject.  But anyways I am glad to meet you  and everyone else that has been so nice and repied to me.

   Loaded is the right word Zuk. This place is loaded with lots of helpful people with definite ideas about who they are and what they believe in. Fortunately, there are also some common strings; one is a passion,for woodworking. The other common string is that these same people are always ready to answer a woodworking question to the best of their ability and knowledge. That makes all of them OK in my book, no matter how intransigeant some of us sometimes seem. See you around.  JL

   I am in Midland County, I'd rathe not say, at this time what village I live in, because we don't  have a lot of family here. Its just an acre and a half in the middle of a ton fo farm land.

   Bill: Welcome! I am also disabled and picked up w.w. after I had to retire, couldn't do the industrial electrician thing anymore. The politics gets hot and heavy here, current topic: Royal Navy.

   Welcome !  You'll find that the Knot heads can be quite entertaining, but be prepared for some tongue in cheek humor.  We have some wise old sages and a few accidents waiting to happen.  So discernment is appropriate.  Even I have been set straight ;-)
