i have an elu biscuit joiner, which is the same as the dewalt and black and decker unit. it’s slightly out of alignment. i remember reading years back about fixing this problem by sdjusting some grub screw in the base(i think). does anyone have any knowledge of this? or can you straighten me out otherwise? ha ha.
thanking each and every one of you beautiful, awesome people in advance, i remain – mytulpa

Sorry no one answered your post - I guess your question was rather specific.
For what it's worth, I know what you're dealing with. A biscuit joiner might be just a little out of alignment (not quite horizontal) but when you attempt to actually mate two edges cut with that slant, the problem is doubled because of the "opposite X" effect!
Offhand I'd say it should be easy to figure out, though - either by inspecting the tool (look for allen head screws or something accesible from the outside) or just calling the company.
Kind of surprised no one answer this question yet, as I believe the ELU unit you are referring to is similar to (or the same as) the Dewalt DW682. There are two torx screws on the face of the unit, slightly below the fence on the unit that you loosen in attempt to the get the blade to cut parallel, the free play achieved from loosing the two screws should enable you to get the blade parallel..
Hope this helps..
i think that's it. thanks.
Your welcome..
