Does anyone have experience with a Milwaukee 10 slide compound miter saw? I’ve been told they are very difficult to set up to cut square.
Thanks

I've had the 10" Milwaukee for the last 7-8 years and have never had any kind of problems keeping it aligned or set-up. It's a very good and robust saw.

Thanks Jon; appreciate the input.

I also have had the Milwaukee slider for several years and it's been good. The fence allignment is a bit of a hassle but I've only done it once in 5 years. The electric brake stopped working for about a month and just when I was about to take it in it cured itself. The insert plate (if it's called that on a slider) design is non adjustable so you cut it so it fits the blade and then when you do a beveled cut and it gets widened. I keep an extra for "special" precision cuts. The other downside is that the footprint is larger than the Makita. Overall the Makita is probably a little better.
thanks; I went with the Makita 12".
From what I hear you made a great choice
