Magnetic switch for table saw
I need a source for a replacement magnetic switch for my tablesaw. (Unisaw, 3 hp. single phase.) The inexpensive one I got from Grizzly a while ago now turns on but not off.

McMaster-Carr has a variety of motor switches.

Steve,
I suggest you have a good look at that switch . If it is not switching off then it is most likely a mechanical fault rather than electrical eg the button plunger is not contacting the breaker arm properly.Or just a loose screw-these things are subject to vibration.Even cheap one sdon't need to be junked unless they burn coils .
I've had the cover off and have discovered the problem. Flimsy plastic piece connecting the off button to the metal "paddle" that actually pushes the buttons on the starter unit has broken. Fixable? -- dubious without the right replacement part. And, at the end of the day I still have a small, "grope around for" off button when a more substantial "mushroom" or the like would be desirable.
I agree with Phillip. Take it apart and fix it.
