Im finding myself making a lot of built-in shelving and cabinetry on the job site. I have a pretty cheap saw guide (which I know I need to update) and an entry level Skil circular saw. Im looking for feedback on the best cicular saw to rip down sheets of 3/4″ cabinet grade plywood from which I build the carcass, etc. A rec for a good saw guide would help too.
Thanks!

Hi Pete,
From what I understand, the size of the mouth in the saw and the quality/sharpness of the blade are critical in getting a quality of cut, perhaps more importantly that the brand of saw (within reason of course, I'm referring to any quality saw)
We use Makita with good results, along with the supplied edge guide - I too am interested in other's opinions on this subject.
Thanks and regards,
