Hi jer,
I suppose you could try: http://www.woodfinder.com . There are some dealers listed who do specialize in figured wood. You might find a dealer there who's located in your neck of the woods!

I'd like to add that Myles sells domestic as well as exotics, and non-figured as well. I've bought exotics as 'shorts', too, at reduced price.
I searched all over the NW for koa for a commission and finally found it--nice, too--in Algona, WA at Specialty Forest Products. I think i remember paying $11/bf.
Jer,
Curlywoods. com. This small company only sells figured woods. They're very expereinced in shipping.
