I’m researching wood oxidizers, and am wondering if there are any good books on oxidizers and their effects on wood. Specifically, I want a good reference book, describing application of different chemical oxidizers to wood of different types. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Classic Finishing Techniques by Sam Allen looks great. I'll check it out. Any other books similar to this one? Thanks!
I'm antiquing wood for old
I'm antiquing wood for old musical instruments. So, I would like a reference guide of the different chemicals that are commonly used as oxidizers for many different wood types (maple, spruce, poplar, willow, etc).
