Hi everyone,
I am building a pulpit and would like to place a cupholder into the top. Maybe something plastic with a lip so that I could bore a hole in the top of my pulpit and drop it in. I have looked at the usual suspects for ww hardware (VanDykes, WW Supply, Rockler) and have come up empty.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dave

DPW,
You might try boating suppliers. West Marine has something that might be close...choose interior - galley- cup holders
Thanks! I'll give it a try.
Or try Doug Mockett, and see if he has a wiring grommet to fit.
Pulpit - as in front of a church or the front of a boat - just checking.
I think you mean the church type. In that case why not drill the hole and place a "bottom" under the hole so the glass never gets jammed in the hole. Trimming the edge with rubber or something would be nice, but probably not necessary.

DPW, Somewhere I have a pair of chrome plated brass gimble mounted cupholders with a marlin motif.I believe they were used to hold 'Brewskis' ???...NaaaaHH. Is that a Bully Pulpit? Stein.
Google with "RV parts cupholder". You'll find lots of sources for a plastic drop-in cupholder. You can get them in several diameters and colors. Around a buck each.
