Am laminating a 4×8 piece of plywood for table top. Anything different in technique than if doing a smaller piece? I would’n think so but want to avoid any pitfalls as I go along here. Thanks.

just make sure your laminate overhangs the work piece about an 1/2"- 1" on all sides. after you put your glue on both the laminate and work piece lay a bunch of dowel rods across the work piece and align the laminate above. Start in the center and remove the dowel rods in the middle and slowly press out toward the ends taking out the dowels as you go. Make sure you don't get any air bubbles and roll out the laminate as best as you can with a J roller. use a lot of contact cement (glue) as well.
