   Wanna know how I did it?  If you right-click any post number (such as this one, which is 39905.4) you can select "copy shortcut."  Then paste that string into your post, then change the 39905.4 to whatever post number you want.  I do it by typing the number in front of the 39905.4, then delete the rest of the numbers, to preserve the hyperlink.

   Or, if you have the post you're referencing right there in front of you, simply right-click the post's number, select "copy shortcut" and paste into your new post.
