jointer tables out of parallel
ive been trying to tune up my elderly(and cheap) beaver 4 inch jointer, im getting concave cuts when edge jointing and it seems to be new problem
checking with a straight edge shows that the tables are out of parallel with the input table sagging at the outside end about 1/32
the tables slide on sloped ways with height adjustment handscrews
is this repairable and or is it worth it? maybe my technique but ive used it successfully for a couple of years and the outfeed table height seems to make very little difference actually none and is set perfectly with the blades

Steve,
Let's hope that you have a standard dovetail-ways jointer (eg. not parallelogram). If so, your fix is to simply shim the outfeed table so that the two tables are in the same plane. The outfeed is always shimmed because it is the table which is less frequently moved, thus requiring less re-adjustments.
