In your article you mention 3/4″ pipe, in the parts list it mentions 1/2″ (gas pipe) Which is it?

Take a look at the article again. He says 1/2" pipe.
I used 1/2" pipe and found it was fine. Apparently a parts list or set of plans is showing 3/4" pipe but that is not how I built the bench and several dimensions would have to be changed to accommodate the larger pipe.
