Anyone use the INCRA miter express and if so how do you like it? I’m thinking of buying it, however I would like to know more about it. Thanks, Jim

It's had to go wrong
James..
It's had to go wrong with any of the Incra product line. I cannot remember any post/review where somebody had a real gripe about Incra.
I do have and use the Incra miter express. As with all their tools, it works as stated in their specifications.
Be aware that the Miter Express is only the table portion and you will need one of the Incra miter guages.
I usually use my Incra miter guage (1000SE) without the Miter Express table. Just me, but I am not sure if I really like the hold down clamp arrangement in the Express table. Maybe I just like fussing with jigs and fixtures but I like my clamps to hold the stock to the fence in most cases. This can be a bit difficult to do for some 'sticks' to be clamped to the iNCRA fence.
If you do not now have the Incra miter guage I would suggest get the bundled Miter Express and save a bit. OR I would think just get a Incra miter guage and see if you really need the table for what you cut most often.
I use several sizes of the common sliding cross-cut sleds for my table saw. I do not have one made this way, but maybe one made with a large table that uses the Incra miter guage as the back fence. Some 'T' slot channels in the sled to allow clamping/holding the 'stick'. My TS sleds usually use quarter sawn oak runners (In both slots). Incra makes adjustable guides for this use.
Have FUN!
Thanks for the feedback. I have an aftermarket miter gauge by Rockler, and the info says it works with any gauge. I think I'll try it and if it doesn't work well I'll get the Incra gauge. Maybe they'll still give me a deal.
Thanks again for the help. I'll be buying it today.
Jim
