And the printing is fouled up through almost the entire issue – the print lies at an angle to the page and a lot of the print is cut off at the tops of every page. The thing is pretty much unreadable.

so call customer service ..they will send another!
What Ed said... I once received a damaged issue and once didn't receive an issue at all, and both times the Customer Service folks were courteous and sent replacements immediately.
DavidHmmm... the garden or the workshop today?
I'll call. I've recently gotten into gardening myself and have really enjoyed it as a diversion. Do you post over on the Gardening forum?
I'm a rank amateur, but I've been trying to read a lot.

I post in spurts on both Knots and Over the Fence... usually depending on which type of projects are uppermost in my mind at the time. For example, come spring I'm going crazy in the garden, so I tend to visit the gardening forum. Right now I'm heavily involved in several furniture projects that are featuring new techniques for me (veneering, bent laminations, etc.), so -- since my thoughts are on the subject -- I show up here on Knots.
Some may think I'm flaky and untrustworthy. I just follow my interests!

Did anyone notice the add on page 3, talking about a new product that consists of a sandpaper disc that glues itself to your saw blade and sands your end grain as you cut. Any one out there try this stuff. OHHHHHHHHHHHH do tell... Rick.
Hey Rick, don't tell how the book ends...I haven't got mine in the mail yet!!

Is it me or does it look to you like one of the students has on a pair of sun glasses. There is some real safety issues going on there....Rick
Maybe they slipped it in to see if we'd notice- sort of a FWW where's Waldo?
Maybe the next one will be a guy wearing a vest made of C-4 running a shaper while doing Tequila shots with a Hooka pipe drapped over the powerfeeder?
Frank
I hope my picture never ends up in there....I would be wearing my Sandals in the shop all summer...(G)
