I’m building a blanket chest of the designs I’ve seen there seems to be 3 flavors. Endgrain to endgrain, frame and panel, endgrain to long grain rabbet. In the frame and panel how would you join the corners? I could have a board on the end to receive a M&T from each side is there anything else I could do?

There is also box joints and dovetails. WOOD magazine had a decent box-jointed blanket chest about a year ago.
