I don't think so, at least not yet. Ask over at Breaktime, there aren't many PP gun users in cabinet and furniture making.

Rickk,
Are the nails you're looking for 16 gauge angled finish nails for the Impulse gun? I've heard a couple months back Paslode stop making stainless steel finish nails.

"I've heard a couple months back Paslode stop making stainless steel finish nails."
I just bought 5 lbs of them from my supplier -- they didn't mention any issue with supply going forward.

oh okay... I had a dealer in Alabama call me up a few months ago asking if Senco made some for the Impulse gun. He told me that he couldn't buy them anymore from his Paslode supplier....he must have been wrong or got some false info.
thanks mike

Mike said "they didn't mention any issue with supply going forward." Just because the didn't mention the issue doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It would be different if he'd asked specifically and gotten a "no problems" answer.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

You're probably right. There are a couple of folks on Breaktime with the same problem. Think I'll stock up while the gettin's good. I'll also inquire at my Passlode dealer and see if I can't get the scoop on this Q.

The 5250 is a positive placement nail gun designed for putting heat treated nails in joist hangers and other metal connectors. With the new hurricane building codes, a variety of metal connectors are used in framing houses. When using stainless connectors on ACQ lumber, such as on decks, stainless nails are recommended. The industry hasn't caught up with this use, yet. Swan Secure is the only place I've found that carries stainless nails for this particular gun.Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
aahh i c .. Senco has hot dipped galv metal connector nails but not stainless steel. Not sure if we're looking into bringing them into our product line soon. Might be a good call to our product managers if the market increasingly demands them.
Thanks all,I am in the process of rebuilding the deck behind our house, and the nail gun is for that 10d I believe.yes its a bit too big for the furniture I build.Guess I might have to order from swan. Thanks Rickk
