Anyone know of hatch pattern fills available for sketchup or layout. The stock fills in layout do not include wood, just plywood.

Rob,
I think I have a wood rain hatch pattern but I can't remember where I got it. I'll look tonight after I get home. I don't use it because I prefer to use images of real wood and adjust them to gray scale.
Rob, my apologies. It appears that the wood grain hatch material I had for SketchUp has vaporized. It was on an old computer and apparently I never moved it over.
One option that might work for you is to edit a wood grain material in an external image editor to increase its contrast and make it black and white. Or maybe just monochrome textures would work without the high contrast?
Happy New Year!

Thank you Dave
I will look into that.
Happy New Year

Skalp for SU
Rob, check out the Skalp plugin for SU available through extension warehouse. Its all about hatching, even scaled and user edits. You can make your own. I bought it awhile ago but am not sold on it. Seems a bit quirky. Anyone else have experience with this plugin?
