Folks
I’ve started up the Shop Made section of the Hand Tool Makers website. There’s a new Gallery function I’ve just added that should make the whole process easier all around. Please preview it at;

The borders are just temporary. There are a variety of choices for final work.

Is this gallery for those who make and sell their stuff? I, for one, hope so.
There are two sections in the site (a third will be up in the near future for historical tools). The first is Commercial, for... people who sell their stuff. The second is Shop Made, for people who make tools for their own use. No problem with doing both, but I'll limit the tools for sale to the commercial section.Garyhttp://toolemera.com
I'm not often a buyer but that's the section (commercial sites) I'd personally be most interested in.

Saw your work on the handtool makers website. Very nice work. That jointer plane is beautiful.
Just curious as to whether or not you sell them?

Hi Jim
Thank's for the compliment.
I primarily build tools for myself, not for sale. They are a "quick-fix" when I want to satisfy my craving to produce art (especially when I only have a little time in the workshop). I also like using my own tools to build furniture.
I have sold a few planes, shooting boards and knives over the years. However these days I try and limit it to runs of marking knives/awls, which I can do as a batch. I'd hardly think of myself as a producer of handtools, however, as I give away more than I sell.
It wouldn't be cost effective if you live in the US (shipping would be a killer). I'd suggest that you either contact Steve Knight or HNT Gordon (there are local agents), both of who do a similar razee design.
Regards from Perth
Derek
