I received a small gift card to Grizzly for Christmas and was wondering about the usefulness of the small Grizzly GO538 oscillating spindle sander? Does anyone have this unit and how does it perform? I’m looking for a pretty basic unit but don’t want to buy junk that will be useless in a year or less.

I've had one of these for about four years and it's been a good little machine. I don't use it a whole lot and have probably worn out about a couple dozen sleeves on it. I'm sure it's no good for production work, but for occasional use it's just fine.
