Can anyone recommend a quality 40″ rigid steel rule, and a source?
I’ve searched and the only promising option I’ve found is from GEI.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hey Adam have you checked out Starrett they have a lot of nice rules, pricy but nice. http://www.starrett.com/download/304_p332_334.pdf
In the past I have seen some nice ones at Garret Wade. Also try an art supply store.
