Stig,
I'm thinking "or" but then again that's just me.
Seriously, TB 2 or 3 should be just fine with proper glue application/clamping/time techniques and if the glue surface is freshly finished and if concerned, wiped with acetone. It's not a particular oily wood relative to teak, rosewood et. But if concerned go ahead and wipe it down.

I've used regular ol' Titebond on padauk with no problems, even after many years.

Stig,
TB III is good, be careful not to get any glue outside of the glue joint. The wood turns dark blue/purple.

Thank you all.We shall use TBIII and clean with acetone before applying the glue. Will make tests first on some scrap pieces. Thanks again.
Stig.
Stig,
You might also want to read over Jeff Jewitt's article on finishing oily wood FWW 203.
I didn't have any problems with bleeding but my project only involved padauk, but you will have already found that the dust stains everything. Also, you may find the dust to be quite irritating to the eyes and throat. Be sure to wear a respirator and goggles if you have them.Don
