Thanks to all that came to my aid in helping me solve this problem.  With all your help I was able to correct my errors and come out with good straight edges.  Panels glued up great with no glue line at all.

Now I know how to properly use a jointer.  You see; even a woodworker at 60 years of age I learned something that I should have decades ago.
