So has anyone done the dust collection upgrade for their TS as per the current FWW mag article? I have a Rockwell Contractor saw that works great for me and am ready to alter my system to run ductwork.

The article was kinda funny to me.
A while back I made a plywood plate for my old Unisaw and the way I cut it somehow made it tilt towards the back of the saw (where the DC connects to it) so I just keft it that way because it also covered up the removeable door (with louvers in it) on the front of the saw.
One tweak that I added was the box I made for the motor. It's made from four pieces of MDO that I recycled. On the outward side I attached heavy felt to allow air to pass over the motor, drawn through the felt by the DC. All I can tell you is that the motor is clean as a whistle.
