Hello everyone,
My current project is an entertainment center with pocket doors that need to overlay at least on the sides. Has anyone ever used the KV 8091 hardware designed for full overlay?
I am unclear from the literature whether it overlays the frame OR it overlays a partition (still insert from the outermost sides)? It seems like a simple thing, but I can’t seem to get clarification on this.
Can anyone help or point me in another direction?
Steve

Designed for use with 5/8 or 3/4" sides. If your faceframe stile is wider than this you are out of luck. Since most are, you'll have to alter your design.
The sides are 3/4", in a typical European/face-frameless fashion. I guess you are saying that it does overlay in the way we usually mean overlay (as when buying hinges)?

Steve ,
Yes , that pocket door hardware will allow your doors to overlay onto the face of the cabinet on the sides but not the top and bottom .
This hardware should be fine for your application.
good luck dusty
Thanks Dusty
