I currently have my cabinet shop in the Akron Ohio area, but moved here from Eugene Oregon. My problem is that I cant seem to find a source for a 1/4 inch A-1 ply. In oregon I could find a fibercore (MDF) in whatever species I wanted. The advantage for using this material for me is that I build alot of flush inset style cabinets, and the full 1/4” allows me to glue my panel in when assemblying my doors which gives me a much stronger and flatter door. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try Cleveland plywood. Not too far from Akron, and I would be very surprised if they don't have what you want. I know they stock mdf core plywood in many species. Phone number is 216-641-6600
