Can't help you with local sources, but VanDyke's restorers carry picture frame molding. Here's a link to the search.

The closest I found was World Of Molding in Santa Ana. There are very few PF moldings in very few species available and you may, as I did, rather quickly get bored and make your own. For one-off large frames I have built-up picture frames using parts of large architectural moldings.
