Hi Folks,
I got official word that Knots is moving to the new platform tomorrow, Tuesday 12/15.
This forum will go dark at about 9:30 a.m. EST. Developers will begin migrating all the data from the old Knots to the new Knots.
The new forum will be unveiled whenever all the data is migrated over this could be as early as Tuesday afternoon or as late as Wednesday evening. (Hopefully it does not take longer than that.)
While the forum is dark, I will be posting updates here: https://www.finewoodworking.com/item/22043/the-forum-fix
I know that people have been asking for more details on why Taunton is making this forum switch. Just so you know, Jason Revzon, the vice president of Taunton Interactive (he’s in charge of all our technical Web stuff), should be weighing in soon with an open letter sharing more background.
In the meantime, I understand that one of our magazine editors, Matt Kenney has been kindly helping out and answering questions as he’s able over the weekend (thanks Matt, much appreciated).
Thanks,
Gina

oops... you're right. I'll make the correction.
Best of luck, wear your asbestos undies for a while.

This slight mistake kind of makes all our points for us,eh?
Gina,
Here’s a few of the things I’ve learned about performing upgrades over the years;
After every major upgrade I would walk outside and marvel at the night sky, it puts everything in perspective.
And finally ask for a big bonus after it’s all over, you deserves it.

Is there a prize for being the first to post on the new format?
