I am building a Greene & Greene style sideboard. The construction will be of cherry with a lacquer finish. Would you please tell me whether or not you would recommend finishing the inside of the cabinet? Thanks very much in advance.

Hi there,
Yes I would recommend finishing the inside of the piece. I use shellac. It's quick and it doesn't smell when dry. Have fun with that piece.
