I have one wall of my +55 year old house that is covered with old growth redwood paneling. I have striped the ugly white paint that covered the paneling and am looking for advice on what to use to finish the paneling. I want to keep it as natural a color as possible (i.e. no stain). Thanks for all suggestions in advance.

Redwood is very soft, even the old growth wood is pretty soft compared to other woods. I would do a small test piece with a waterbased poly or maybe super blonde shellac. Anything with linseed oil in it will probably darken it a lot.
Good luck and post some photos some redwood is quite nice.
