I have completed a side table using swiss pear. What would you recommend for a finish? I had thought of a wash coat of shellac and then Tried and True..any thoughts?

Finishing swiss pear
Since swiss pear is so uniform I don't bother with the shellac. I have successfilly used T&T on swiss pear for a number of projects
