I’m putting up some sassafras panelling on a workroom divider wall. I was wondering what, if any, finish I should use. Not planning on staining it. Thanks.

I made sassafras cabinet last year and used water poly. Worked fine. Pretty wood.

SF works great and smells nice too.
I make lots of Jewellery boxes with Sassafras and I usually finish them with several coats of wipe on polly, it brings the wood up beautifully. The one I use is Minwax Wipe on Polly
