I’m wondering if anyone has an idea where I can acquire a 1/4″ thick cutting dado blade. One blade only. I’ll be using this on a 12″ Minimax slider for cutting that size dado only. The Minimax won’t accept a dado blade set…. arbor is too short. (not to mention the wide blade set will make lunchmeat of my sliding carriage.)
Alternatively, I might be able to fit two 1/8″ normal dado blades without any mishap. If so, where can I send my 5/8″ arbor blades to be enlarged to 1″? Those blades are made by Freud and are quite useless to me as is.
The saw is still new to me and I’m still low in the learning curve.
Thanks

I would E mail Minimax and ask then for guidance as to what you are doing and they I am sure will be able to help you.
Get a 1/4" box joint blade
Get a 1/4" box joint blade and have Forrest Mfg. re-bore it.

Or get the Forrest box joint set and get it re-bored for $20.

Or . . .
Or, make the dados with a router. ;-)
