   depending on your browser..go into spam mail and highlight it from there and change it to allow..you will be notified I sent this..

   Thanks for responding. My spam blocker is not in my browser it is through my isp.

   You should STILL be able to monitor what is there..who decides whats spam? YOU DO. Do you not check your spam before having it trashed?

   My AOL..9.0 for BB puts it in a folder with an option of "this is not spam" button..often goodmail or a new address from a "KNown" sender gets in there..

   I don't. My ISP uses some third party spam checking software to tag likely spam by prepending UCE (for unsolicited commercial e-mail) to the subject line. I checked it out for the first week or two when they started, but now it all goes to my spam folder untouched by human hands. Some of the spammers have figured out how to bypass the filtering, but I only have to deal with two or three or four spams a day in my inbox now.

   Actually, I don't look at the blocked spams. See my post in this discussion to Gretchen that explains how my spam blocker works. There is option in the spam blocker to have all blocked spams saved so I can view them on-line, but there are just too damn many of them.

   ya could use a separate email address just for Knots..login page has a place to change your email address..remove all spam blockers from it and don't usei for anything else, when spammers might catch on to it use a new address..

   your other question..you may select "subscribe" at the top right of the thread heading box..and you will be notified of posts in that thread to you or not..once a day is minimun frequency.

   hope ya get it ironed out..spam sucks big time.

   Anti/spam software does too..

    want to receive email notices of new posts from this forum. But I need the email address that this forum uses to send these notices so I can put it on my spam blocker list.

   I think you only get a notice if it is addressed to you--as this one is.  Am I misunderstanding your desire to get ALL posts?  You need to check in your preferences if you want to receive notification.  My AOL doesn't filter these out.

   My spam blocker works by blocking all email unless the sender's address is on my "friends" list. It returns all blocked emails with a notice that tells the sender how to get an email to me. Spammers, so far, don't go this extra step. Sometimes my "friends" don't either which is a problem, but for me is it less of a problem than receiving 60+ spams a day.

   As to the other point: I thought if you checked the link asking to be notified of new posts to a particular discussion you would be notified of all new posts to that discussion whether it was addressed to you specifically or not. (?) I don't mean all posts to the Knots forum.
