I think Woodworkers Warehouse carries these honing guides. I have one, I like it , Believe I bought it at WWW
I don't think you're going to find an actual eclipse guide sold here in the U.S. any more. Just about everyone sells a guide of the same style, which works very well. I got mine at The Japan Woodworker. You can see it at page 59 of their online catalog.

Another example is Garrett Wade. They call theirs a "side clamp honing guide". It is item number 10M07.01 and is viewable online at

There are many other sources, all quite inexpensive. One of my most dependable tools.
Cheers,
Greg
Eureka! I think the Garret Wade model is the one. It's the only one I've seen that describes the convex side that provides self-centering, which was the advantage of the Eclipse. Seems silly to emphasize such a small feature when we're talking about a $10 product, but it is often referred to in reviews. Thanks for the research. Todd
I received the Eclipse knockoff from Garret Wade. Turns out it looks just like all the other generic models sold out there, most of which sell for less money (Menards, about $6). Oh, the GW has instructions on the back. I guess I just needed to see for myself. (And GW just sent me a $5 coupon because I'm such a good customer.) Todd
Great, you guys. I think the style of guide has lasted so long because it works very well. Mine is from the Japan Woodworker, and has blade projections cast into the side. I'd expect those from the other sources do too, not that they're all manufactured by the same company in Japan. I think I've seen some from Korea. The projection theory really does work well, but that is another topic.
cheers,
Greg
Thanks for asking the question..I could not find them anywhere either. It appears to be the same they sell at woodworkers for about $4.50..or less. I think they are great for putting that slight convex shape on the ends to avoid digging in...with just a little finger pressure.
