I am beginning to make a carved column and ball and claw legs.  The book I have been referencing is by Ron Clarkson.  In it he used what he calls a Easley Vise.   This vise seems to be adjustable to allow different length items to be held while he is carving on them.  He shows a couple of small pictures of it but no plans.

Does anyone have a book with plans to make an Easley Vise?  I have searched through mine and have had no luck.
