I’m looking to buy a dw625 plunge router primarily to use on the router table. I have read somewhere on the web that it is difficult to set up but would like to hear from others, especially those who own one. Also will I be able to use router bits for stiles and rails and raised panels. I’ve read some posts but not enough specific info to make a decision.
P.S. Bear with me I’m still a novice woodworker.

I used to use my DW625 in a router table but it really isn't that well suited. That router doesn't plunge as deep as others so it's hard to get some bits to clear the table enough. I sometimes ended up having less of the shank in the collet than I was comfortable with just to be able to get the bit at the right height. I retired the DW625 to handheld use and got another router for the table.
Try a Woodrat. Works just great with the DW625, the plungbar is a great addition too. Head for the Woodrat site and all will be revealed!
