I was looking at the new drill Press table that Sears/Craftsman has pretty dang Neat for a sears gizzmo only $120.00 it even tilts now thats diffrent. plus it has nice hold downs & a fence system.. I have been looking at the Rockler & a couple of others not sure if IM going to just build one or get a bought one..Was wonder what you Guys & Gals use & how do you like it..

That Universal Drill Press table is quite nice looking. Did you see it live? What I can't figure out is how to design/install it so you can still crank the handle up and down?

I have been using the Rockler for a couple of years. I bought the smaller sized one. The drill press is right by the door in my shop and the smaller one worked better for me in that location. I really like it. You definetly could build something similar, but I felt the the Rockler was a good buy. It has served me well. I really like the way the split fence on the aluminum angle works.

I think you worked too much over-time during the winter. So, you're considering buying a DP table. An I thought you were a cheap-skate like me. ha..ha..

SARGE: IM still doing overtime to the tune of 12 HRS a day!.. I am looking for ideas for a DP table,something like yours.. Don't want you beating me out on those Capital designs..LOL...Just not sure yet of a design..
