I am finally getting around to completing my router cabinet. I finished making the drawers a few weeks ago (10″(H) x 24 13/16″(W) x 22″(D)) from 1/2″ poplar. Now I want to add fronts to those drawers. I am all ears as to how to accomplish this, please.
Thanks,
dlb.

all depends on the look you are after and the construction of drawers.
if the drawer sits in the case with the front flush with the cabinet, you could just put the hardware on the box and go with that.
Other option is to cut a board 1 in taller and 1 1/2" wider that the opening and then screw that to the front of the drawer with the screws going in from inside the drawer. this gives you 1/2" lip top and bootom and 3/4" lip on the sides. put a couple of silicone bumpers on the lips and you are good.
Thanks for the reply. I have made the front and thought about using screws to fasten it to the box but wanted to see if there was another option. Since this is for a router cabinet which will be holding router accessories, looks may not be that important.

Screws work fine. There is a type of screw that has a really wide pan head, get some of these of the right length to not go through your drawer front. Drill two holes in the inside drawer front that are at least twice the diameter of the screw shank but like half the diameter of the head. Position your decorative front as best you can on the drawer - one way is to put the drawer in the cabinet, put carpet tape on the front of the drawer, line it up and then stick it on. then put your screws in centered in the oversize holes but don't tighten them too much. You can now make final adjustments to how the fronts line up (plus or minus the amount of slack in the oversize hole), and do the final tightening of the screw.RogerI'd rather be making cabinets and friends....
