I do a lot of dovetails.. Yep with a router and a Incra fence..
But usually just drawers, cases and stuff like that..
I have a large door I need to make using different woods.. Purpleheart and Lacewood.. Well, I like Purple and Brown together!
The sticks will be about 1 1/2 inch thick and 4 inches wide.. Approx.. Who knows when I get it all planned down..
However, some of the joints will be long grain to end grain.. NO! No M&T.. Sorry..
OK to do? What should I look out for..
The joints are for decoration as well as to hold it together..
