Do you own a DeWalt DW621 router?
The plunge mechanism is starting to stick. The manual doesn’t give any instructions on maintenance (except to insist that it be done by an authorized service center). I was going to lubricate guideposts, but which screws should be removed to get at them?
One guidepost is hollow for dust collection. The other contains bright green jelly, but that’s on the inside. Is it only the outside of the guideposts that should be lubricated?

Flood with machine oil or WD40. Then plunge up/down x 1 minute.
Wipe off the mess and you're good to go.
Have a 621? http://patwarner.com/dw621.html
