I’m upgrading the factory fence on my Delta contractors tablesaw and have been shopping for a used Biesemer BC30 and unable to find anything. The cheepest ive seen new is $345. I have read that the Delta T2 is a Bies clone with an aluminum face. will i be sorry if i buy the t2 at less than half the BC30? T2-$158 new.

I bought a T2 on sale a year or so ago, and have been quite happy with it. I had to drill a couple of new holes in the front rail to match the existing holes in my table, and had to buy new screws to match the thread in the table (the ones that come with the kit are metric to match newer saws). It's a robust, stable fence and adjusts easily, IMHO.
Agree with Ralph... the T-2 is definitely not as good a fence IMO as the Biese but... at the price plenty (and I emphasize Plenty) good enough. You should be more than fine and about anything beats a contractor factory fence in most cases.
I have the T2 on my Delta hybrid and have been generally well pleased. The decider for me was limited shop space where i have to store the saw against a wall when not in use; Biesemeier 30" T2 was several inches wider than the T2 so it would not have fit into the available space.
T2 is not as stiff a the Biesemeier, so it can deflect slightly under sideways pressure, but it moves effortlessly and the included tape is easy to read and pretty accurate.
The Biese is great fence, the T2 is a great value. As much as I like the Biese, I'd probably go with the T2 in this situation...depending on what the price difference means to you.
I faced the same decision fourteen months ago, and purchased the T2. On sale, plus a 10% coupon brought the total price down to $130. Like other posters I had to drill new holes. A great fence. I couldn't justify the more expensive fence for a contractors saw. Sort of like tricking out a Ford Fiesta. Eventually you'll upgrade, yet in the mean time you'll never get the value of the very expensive option(s).
Let us know what you do.
